VS 2010 Crash trying to open WF 4.0 diagram RRS feed

  • Question

  • HI,

I'm trying to load a empty workflow diagram, but Visual Studio 2010 RTM keeps on crashing.

Does anyone had this experience. I must add that in the solution there is a project with WF 3.0 workflows

that I want to convert to WF 4.0. Is this a issue having a project with WF 3.0 and an project with WF 4.0 in

    the same solution?

    The application Event log details:

    - <Event xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/win/2004/08/events/event">

  • Found something interesting.

I solved the problem by opening the Toolbox window first so that it can initialize.

Then opened the workflow and everything works fine. If you open the workflow

before opening the toolbox window it will crash VS 2010.

Rather pin your toolbox than hiding it when working with a workflow.
