  • Hi 

    Is it possible to create an outlook 2003 addin using visual studio 2010, which targets the .net 4 framework.. ?

  • No. Visual Studio 2010 only allows you to create Office 2007 and Office 2010 projects that target .Net Framework 3.5 and 4.0.

  • I'm pretty sure that it's not possible either. VS 2008 uses VSTO 3.0, which is .NET 3.5. Also VS 2008 doesn't allow you to select Target Framework as .NET 4.0, so your only option is try building from command line, but I doubt it would work.
