    Hi,
    I have been testing mobile pages with the Audiovox 5600 smartphone device. The latest device update dated 12/18/04 does not have a section for handling MSIE 4.01 based browser which is what this phone has. I have to say this is one of the most popular phones at MS based on what I have read in the MSDN blogs.
    The problem is that phone numbers rendered by the PhoneCall control don't show up with a link to make the call by clicking on the number. In other words the canInitiateVoiceCall property evaluates to "false".
    I have been able to modify this file locally to get this to work but need to deploy to the production site. I could change this file on the entire server farm but I was hoping to just deploy the update.
    Any word on when the next update is going to be released?

    If ASP.NET cannot detect this device then you should modify your web.config file and add <browserCaps> information there about Audiovox 5600. To get better section to web.config you should use ASP.NET Device Profiling page. You can find it here.
