Can we map EF 4.3.1 codefirst to existing database?

  • Hi,

Yes, check out the EF Power Tools, they will help you reverse engineer a Code First model - http://blogs.msdn.com/b/adonet/archive/2012/04/09/ef-power-tools-beta-2-available.aspx

In the future you will probably get faster responses if you post on stackoverflow.com. Due to the number of questions being asked there the EF team is spending more and more time focusing on Stack Overflow.

The *Pre-Release* Entity Framework Forum will be closing soon. We are seeing a lot of great Entity Framework questions (and answers) from the community on Stack Overflow. As a result, our team is going to spend more time reading and answering questions posted on Stack Overflow. We would encourage you to post questions on Stack Overflow using the entity-framework tag. We will also continue to monitor the Entity Framework forum.
