C# Code requirments of class to be used in Outlook VBA RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi

I wrote (C# VS2010) a class which dll i want to use in Outlook 2007 VBA. Currently I can't add my dll to the VBA Reference list (No reasons are provided)

    I followed

How to: Register a Component for COM Interop
    http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/w29wacsy%28v=vs.100%29.aspx
    Set:
    Application: make assembly COM visible
    Build: register for COM interop

    My questions:

    1. Are there C# coding guidance rules related to class to be used in VBA ?

    2. Is there a lint tool for checking the above ?

    3. Can I use VS to  help me sort it out ? how ?

    4. How should I proceed ?

I'm clueless ..... Would appreciate your feedback

    Thanks
