Arrange a rectangle at right bottom end of RDLC RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi all,

I want to create an RDLC that has a summary box at right bottom (not in footer, above that). Now issue is that if in design time, I arrange the rectangle in bottom right and when an actual report prints, my rectangle is displayed in next page and not on same page, even though there is enough space for the rectangle to be placed at the same page.

Any suggestion how can i achieve the same.

    Thanks

  • Is your report variable length or always the same length? If it's fixed length, then you have a problem with the margins and size of the box. You'll just have to adjust the values until the box fits on the same page.

If the report is variable length, then you don't really have any control over if it fits on one, two, or etc pages.

  • The report is of varying length. It can span n number of pages. Currently I have a table in report and I have added a chunk of empty rows at the end. I hide/unhide a row according to number of items present in report so as the box sticks at the end of report. Cheeky but works for time being !
