  • Hi Ronan22,

For example, you can put your custom page in a library. Then you can “stop Inheriting permissions” in library settings .  Then you can set a permission to your SharePoint Group. You can also set a anonymous Access.

    Thanks,

    Jack

  • Hi ronan22,

If the page already in a library, there are several reasons you can’t see it in the library, please check the following:

1.If a page is already created by someone else but not published in a page library, you may not be able to see the page.

2.Did you have the permission to see a draft version? If the page library is set with create major and minor versions and only users who can edit items could be able to see the draft version.

3.Maybe the file is checked out by someone else. Go to the library the page may exist. Type the file name (maybe a.aspx) directly in the browser address bar right after the document name. For example, the page maybe stored in document library1, and the address of the document library maybe like this http://server/Docs/document library1/Form/AllItems.apx. Please change it to http://server/Docs/document library1/a.aspx. If you got access denied, it is means the file is exiting in the library, but you have no permission to access it. So you can’t see it in the library.

4.Workflow could also make influence on the library representation.

    Thanks,

    Jack

  • Hello Jack,

Thanks for the quick reply. But there is slight change in the query. This is regarding  the access of our users with read or contribute permission, they are not able to access our sites custom pages. This issue could be some sharepoint site settings?

I really dont want to give the full control to all the user to access. Is there any site permission issue?. Please share your inputs.

    thanks,

    ronan
