Cannot see tasks (assignments) RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi All,

We use Project Server 2010 Feb CU

One of our user cannot see assignments from one of plan. And i cannot understand why. When he opened Task page he can see assignments from another plans but not not for this plan. I  checked resource assignments from this user via Delegate method and in this window from this user i can see all him assignments include this plan. But in Timesheet and Tasks page i cannot see this assignments. I saved and republished plan again but this does not help. This behavior i can see only for this user.

Any ideas how to resolve this issue?

  • Hi Alexey,

If you open the Project in Project Professional and insert the Assignment owner column, is the same resource name displayed as in the Resource Name column? Also insert the Publish column and confirm these tasks are set to yes.

    Thanks

  • We use standart view "My Assignments" with no filters and Grouping by Project name. I try to use another views but this does not help me.

  • I have faced with this problem before...

First of all just PUBLISH your project again :)

  • Hi guys,

Thank you for you ideas. Especially to Paul. Answer for this issue in my case was in incorrect Assignment owner for this users (Default assignment owner for this user was not the same as this user). After i changed this field with name of this user and publish project again - bingj - he can see all needed tasks!

  • Alexey --

If you open the Build Team dialog for the project in question, is this resource set to Proposed instead of Committed?  If so, change the Booking value to Committed for this resource and then save and publish the project again.  Just a thought.  Hope this helps.
