Keyboard Filter RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi I am trying to certify a Keyboard filter driver. I would have expected that this Driver is classified by HCK Studio as a "software device" but the driver is listed under "device manager" *and* the Name presented is the one of the real keyboard device (e.g. "Cherry .... USB Keyboard").

Is this correct? Will it have to pass the same tests as a "real Keyboard"?

    Thank you!

    Frank

  • Many filter drivers are now being associated with appropriate hardware drivers to provide a more thorough testing environment. This means that you need to pass the tests associated with the hardware device.
