I can not find the "Welcome" BSB file when I click on OPEN? RRS feed

  • Question

  • I can't find the welcome folder like shown in tutorials and books. Where is this found, why isn't it shown where the OPEN feature on Small Basic puts me?

  • Hi,

There is a samples folder in the installation folder - perhaps copy it somewhere in your documents.

    The installation samples is usually:

    C:\Program Files\Microsoft\Small Basic\Samples (on a 32 bit PC)

    C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft\Small Basic\Samples (on a 64 bit PC)

If you mean some other welcome folder then please give a link or say where it is referenced.

    Good luck.

  • You can open only Small Basic source program file (.sb or .smallbasic) by clicking Open button (icon).

Most of tutorials are in the internet.

"Small Basic Getting Started" is here.

  • You get only a list of SmallBasic files when you click OPEN.

If you know the name of e.g. *.txt file in your programdirectory, you can load it by entering the full name+extension.
