WorkflowControlClient.Terminate - Access is Denied RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I have a system that been using workflow and working fine until last week, it suddenly shows "Access is Denied" error with no more details. After some check I found that the exception thrown when it calls on method WorkflowControlClient.Terminate(GUID) or WorkflowControlClient.Unsuspend(GUID). Below shown is the error message:

Access is denied. Server stack trace:at System.ServiceModel.Channels.ServiceChannel.ThrowIfFaultUnderstood(Message reply, MessageFault fault, String action, MessageVersion version, FaultConverter faultConverter)at System.ServiceModel.Channels.ServiceChannel.HandleReply(ProxyOperationRunTime operation, ProxyRpc&rpc)at System.ServiceModel.Channels.ServiceChannel.Call(String action, Boolean oneway, ProxyOperationRuntime operation, Object[] ins, Object[] outs, TimeSpan timeout)at System.ServiceModel.Channels.ServiceChannelProxy.InvokeService(IMethodCallMessage methodCall, ProxyOperationRuntime operation)at System.ServiceModel.Channels.ServiceChannelProxy.Invoke(IMessage message)Exception rethrown at [0]:at System.Runtime.Remoting.Proxies.RealProxy.HandleReturnMessage(IMessage reqMsg, Imessage retMsg)at System.Runtime.Remoting.Proxies.RealProxy.PrivateInvoke(MessageData& msgData, Int32 type)at System.ServiceModel.Acivities.IworkflowInstanceManagement.Unsuspend(Guid ID)

Anyone can show me a direction on solving this as I have been searching solution for the past week but can't find any.
