    Hi All,

    I am new to mobile application development.

    Requirements:

    - To develop a mobile application which will help users to view reports wherever they are.

    Can i develop using .Net ( Visual Studio)? If so, then how can i access the app from mobile after deploying it on a company server? Do i need to like host it or something? Also, please suggest a free software which will help me develop the same.

    Would you suggest hosting on cloud?

     

    Pls help as i am completly new in this!

    Hi,

    Yeah, you can use Visual Studio to develop Mobile web applications. General ASP.NET web applications works absolutely fine in all mobile devices!

    Moreover, coming to display of reports, what kind of reports you are planning to display. Since, the smart phones has screen size limitations and file types, you should decide, how you display it!
