MOSS 2007 - Vista - Upload multiple documents - zip files not visible

Question
-
We have following problem on a Vista client accessing a MOSS 2007 installation:
repro-scenario:
1. Go to a document library
2. Click upload in the action bar
3. Choose Upload Multiple Documents
4. A window is opened where you can select the files you want to upload: go to a directory which contains at leas 1 .zip file
Problem: the .zip files are not visible (they are visible in the same Windows folder as viewed by Windows Explorer)
This phenomenon is not reproducable on a XP client, it is only reproducable on a Vista client.
Anybody has had the same issue? And knows a solution?

I've found weird solution.
find following registry and remove and reboot.
it is related with vista internal zip folder function.HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{E88DCCE0-B7B3-11D1-A9F0-00AA0060FA31}
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{0CD7A5C0-9F37-11CE-AE65-08002B2E1262}
you should reboot after removing the registry. then you can see zip files on upload multiple documents on vista.- Proposed as answer by Rashu,Rahul Tuesday, August 30, 2011 3:32 PM

This is something I too came across yesterday. I am using Vista and if I select the Upload Multiple, I cannot even see an entry for the zip files in my folder. However, using the single upload action, I can.
Not found a fix yet.Tuesday, November 20, 2007 8:57 AM -
Hi Patrik,
My colleague has this same issue on his machine!
Ping me when you find a solution...this must be a bug.
