Make Outlook 2010 Unresponsive RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi All,

I currently have a macro set up in Outlook 2010, in order for our users to print the "First Page Only" in an email. The method I use in order to achieve this is essentially "Send Keys" and whilst I can appreciate that this is probably not a very good way of going about things, its the only possible way to get it to work.

The main problem which seems to have arisen is that if a user interupts the Send Keys command once they have selected the macro, then it will procude alot of unexpected results and will not print.

    My question is -

Is there any VB code I could use to make Outlook 2010 unresponsive to the user whilst the Send Keys command executes?

Any help would be very much appreciated!

    Thanks

    Louis

  • SendKeys is a bad solution, as you already know.

Are you setting the Wait argument in your SendKeys() method call? That would do exactly what you want without doing anything like an endless loop.
