    Thanks for th reply. No it didt work in my case. I have to use a different font (UNICODE MS) to make them display correctly.

    Hmmm, might be the culture settings on the various browsers you have.  Are you explicitly setting the charset?

    Did you tried setting the following in Web.Config?

    <globalization fileEncoding="ISO-2022-JP" requestEncoding="utf-8" responseEncoding="utf-8" culture="ja-JP" uiCulture="ja-JP" />
