Mail Merge update to Office 365 RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have a mail merge function that has worked well for years - from a cookbook - running in VBA in a Access 2010 mdb project, but now that I have upgraded to Office 365, I get Error Code 5922: Cannot open data source.  The merge is attempting to open an  another Access 2010 .mdb file to get the data for merging into a Word 2010 document.  What must change in the transition to office 365?  Thanks.

  • Hi Mike Candalor,

please try to post the code, we will try to reproduce the issue.

with only error description, we are not able to find the issue.

try to check that the data from the database fetch correctly.

    query is correct.

    database is at correct place.

the data are in correct format.

it is possible that when you upgrade the Office some features get changed in newer version and because of that you are getting an error.

so we need to make changes according to new version to make it working again.

    Regards

    Deepak
