NET_BUFFER_CURRENT_MDL_OFFSET != 0 cause system crash RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi all

I'm writing a wifi miniport driver, everything works well when it's in STA mode (native wifi). but once I enable SoftAP mode by 'netsh wlan set' and 'netsh wlan start' , and with 2 clients connected, the OS crashed. the dump log doesn't show any minport related infos.

after I revised the code for the NetBuffer to make NET_BUFFER_CURRENT_MDL_OFFSET == 0, SoftAP became normal.

so, is there any special Memory requirement for SoftAP mode ?

    thanks in advance !

PS. my revision is to move the wifi data to the header of the MDL of the NET_BUFFER
