Unable To Enable The NDIS miniport driver RRS feed

  • hi,

     I working  on NDIS 6.30 miniport driver, driver is working fine but I found two issues,

    1).Driver is Disabling properly but while I try to Enable the driver NDIS CALLS THE UNLOAD(CALL BACK FUNCTION).

    2)Driver is Crashing while I REMOVE THE MINIPORT SECOUND TIME.

  • How do you know the driver is disabling properly?   It sounds like that the driver is not cleanly being disabled and unloaded, which would explain the behavior you are seeing.

  • If you disable a miniport from Device Manager, the miniport will halt, and if there are no other instances of the miniport the driver will unload. If you do not see this happening, then you are not implementing those functions properly
