How can we secure application source code and some secrets in WinJS RRS feed

  • General discussion

  • According to my question here. I would like to start a discussion about securing application source code and some secrets in the code.

As I, and everybody out there, know that if we can access to some specific directory of the PC as administrator, we can see the source code of any apps installed from Windows Store in created by HTML/Javascript. And a decompile-able dll file for XAML/C#. And I'm sure 99% of Windows Users are administrator users of their PC. ( here )

Is there any way that we can protect our source code?

    And another important thing.

How and where should we put the web service client secret in our apps. e.g. Facebook application secret or Twitter client secret. For now, I have to include those information in the source code. Is there any techniques can do?
