Is own CA certificate for Hyperledger Fabric allowed? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi All,

I want to create an Azure managed Hyperledger Fabric network but I am curious if I can use my own CA certificate for my membership and let other members use their own CA certificates instead of the default provided by Azure?

There are certain enterprise security policies for some members in the network which only allow usage of your own certificates.

    Quick response appreciated.

  • Hi Bhupender S Sorry for the delay, I am reaching out internally with your question. I will get back here as soon as I hear back.

  • Apologies for my delay in responding.  The current template deployed to Azure Marketplace for HLF v1.3, does not support "bring your own CA cert".  However, the template can be downloaded and modified to support this.  We should probably chat offline about some other changes that we have been working on to support more flexibility and a better deployment story.

Can you ping me on my Microsoft email, cale.teeter@microsoft.com
