where did install to on PC RRS feed

  • I downloaded and installed Small Basic on my Windows 10 PC but the install did not put an icon on the desktop and I cannot find it

    All the Cortana thing does if I ask it is to send me to the web.

    Does anybody know where it is installed to

    Microsoft why dont you give a choice to pick your own directory and why no desktop iconXJM36

    C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft\Small Basic

  • thanks something is very weird dont have a directory Microsoft and no Microsoft folder has an installation date of yesterdays date

  • Perhaps Windows hides the Microsoft directory? Try (as administrator) to make a directory Microsoft in Program Files. Perhaps you get an error "Directory exists" or something like that. Then you know the dir. is hidden.

  • Yes , for my computer, 64 bit system,  , it is:

    C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft

    there is no icon on the desk, but a new icon will appear in the windows tiles panel, as new add programs or applications.
