Windows Mobile Client Side Transformation RRS feed

  • Question

  • We modifying our web application to suppot Windows Mobile.
On Windows Mobile, we are getting problems with Client side transformation using Javascript.

var xsltCompiled = new ActiveXObject(”MSXML2.XSLTemplate”); // Throws Object Error on Windows Mobile

var XML = new ActiveXObject(”MSXML2.FreeThreadedDomDocument”); // Throws Object Error on Windows Mobile

Looks like MSXML2.FreeThreadedDomDocument, MSXML2.XSLTemplate objects are not supported on Windows Mobile. How can we use client side transformation for Windows Mobile?

    Thanks in advance.

  • Hi Malleswar,

My problem is only with Windows Mobile.

We have java based web application which requires xslt transformation on client using javascript. This works on Desktop PC but it is not working on Windows Mobile.

In my Web Application, Following xslt transformation javascript code needs to execute on Client.

    JavaScript Code

var xsltCompiled = new ActiveXObject(”MSXML2.XSLTemplate”); // Throws Object Error on Windows Mobile

var XML = new ActiveXObject(”MSXML2.FreeThreadedDomDocument”); // Throws Object Error on Windows Mobile

Looks like MSXML2.FreeThreadedDomDocument, MSXML2.XSLTemplate objects are not supported on Windows Mobile. How can we use client side transformation for Windows Mobile?

    Thanks in advance.
