MSDN SSRS documentation needs sidebar navigation and images RRS feed

  • Question

  • I love technet. So confused why we have TechNet, MSDN, Microsoft Virtual Academy. Videos on Academy are cool I guess, but most of the times, I prefer screenshots and instructions.

    So,

    https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ee633651%28v=sql.110%29.aspx

This is a documentation on TechNet about SSRS guages/indicators/KPIs

    https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/ee633673.aspx

This is the equivalent on MSDN. The images are ALL BROKEN. Also, there's no navigation so guided learning is broken and you can only learn what you are looking for, instead of related topics.

If technet is going down, can you just keep the tutorials and images and navigation to MSDN? Or stop duplicating material to MSDN in an incomplete manner?

  • I frequently use Google to ask questions about the Microsoft BI stack, and get driven to either technet, or lately unfortunately, msdn.

If I search for that, the top link is this

    https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/ms141134.aspx

The images are all broken on this link, as well as other articles about SSRS/SSIS.

Fortunately, I have noticed that anything that has LIBRARY in the URL seems to preserve the sidebar and images like technet. Still, why is the first link and many links like it messed up?
