How was this built? Azure speech to text sample RRS feed

On the azure page for speech to text they have this sample

    https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/services/cognitive-services/speech-to-text/

I want to do the same thing - dictate text to microphone and have it update a text field on the web page. I know how to make it work using WPF and MVVM but not too familiary with asp.net.

Does this require signalR at all? or can I accomplish the updating the textarea all at the client side

Specifically, how to update the textarea dynamically with the text result from StartContinuousRecognitionAsync()

    Hi erotavlas,

That question is Azure Cognitive Services specific , I would suggest you post your question to StackOverflow and add [Azure] tag.

    Best Regards,

No, no its not specific to azure cognitive services.  Really I just want to know how to do something like that with ASP.NET Core.  I don't really care what the backend is, or where the data is coming from - that was just an example I provided.

modern browsers support WebRTC. this allows javascript to access the computer's camera and microphone and preform the recording. it then uses ajax to upload the recording to azure for processing.
