  • Question

  • Hello,

We have a 271 5010 with EB segments like below

    EB*1**1^33^35^86^AL^MH^UC^47^98~

When testing the mapper I have set use ISA11 as repetition separator and when I run the document I get the below error

    C:\Users\ error btm1041: Native Parsing Error: Segment level  : Field Error : Segment ID - EB : Field Position - 3 : Current value - 1^33^35^86^AL^MH^UC^47^98 : [7] Invalid code value

    Any suggestions

  • Krishna,

As I mentioned in my earlier post, did you check the Party Setting "Use ISA11 as repetition separator". Also what version of BizTalk are you working with? For 2010, you can check this link.

  • Hi,

This should work fine, have you tried to test this using the EDI disassembler , you have to set "Use ISA11 as repetition separator" party property for this to take effect. and the ISA11 should be ^ in your test file.

  • Hello Bali,

    Thanks for the reply.

When I test the mapper, I get the error what I posted in previous post.

When I run it through EDI Assembler I get the below error..

    Error: 2 (Field level error)
    SegmentID: ISA
    Position in TS: 1
    Data Element ID: ISA11
    Position in Segment: 11
    Data Value: ^
    7: Invalid code value.
Party associated to it is configured correctly with charater ^. I am not sure what I am missing here.
    Please Advise

  • Hello Bali,

I do see the issue now. I am running into a new issue

On the party Configuration I do see three tabs, Genral, Party1-> party2 and Part2 -> party1

On Party1 -> Party2 tab I have set the values correctly including "Use ISA11 as repetition separator"., now I am trying to edit the values of Party2 -> Party 1 tab. I am unable to change the values on this tab.

    Any suggestions
