    since the original posting was moved into here....

    Windows CE 5 is just an OS. Electronic signature pad is a consumer device, which as both an OS and some extra parts, both in hardware and in software. Adding these parts to Windows CE 5 is certainly possible to make electronic sigtaure pad out of some device.

    For exampe you can see electronic signature pad, based on Windows CE5, in some FedEx offices. They are made by Honeywell (formelly HHP). Is this something you are asking about ?

    In theory you can even use a retail Windows CE5 device with touch screen, and adding your modules to it then use touch screen input to capture signature and convert int into an electronic format of your choice.

    Or you want the opposite - to install and run Windows CE 5 on pre-esisting electronic signature pad device ?
