Persist objects to a database RRS feed

  • To persist an object to a database usually means to take an Class like Customer (or a DataTable or anything really) where customer has properties like ID, Name, Address and such. And sending this information to the Database. There are a number of ways this can be sent to a database. You can use dataAdatpers. Essentially you construct SQL statements that are then executed against a database where the data is stored.

In the end you have the following pieces
    1) Structure that holds data
    2) Way to transform instance data in structure to SQL statements
    3) Execute SQL statements against a database connection to add data into the database.
