WinCE Device not recognized as a Mass Storage Device to Host PC RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I am using Phytech LPC3250 Evaluation board using WinCE 6.0 R3 OS.

The device already used as a USB serial to communicate with PC using Active sync.
    This works well.
Now I want to enable USB client mass storage device.
So that the device should be recognized as a USB mass storage device when it connected to PC.
I made all the changes required to enable this feature,
    1) Disabled Active sync
    2) Enabled USB functional client as Mass Storage Device by disabling Serial.
    3) Selected USB device driver in BSP.
But the device is not recognized to PC and showing "Uknown USB Device" PC.
    Please help me in this.
    I struct here itself.
    Thanks in advance.
    Regards,
    Bharathi.

  • 2) Enabled USB functional client as Mass Storage Device by disabling Serial.
    Does this mean that:
    1. You have USBF mass storage support in your OS
    2. You have ensured that the default client is the USB mass storage driver
    3. You have configured the mass storage driver to use the appropriate disk for your system
