Does atomsv provides updated info RRS feed

  • Hi All,

      I had imported ssrs report through automsvc and I would like to know does this automsvc provides updated data on refresh of the "data-source or Refresh button" from Pivot home tab.

  • Hello Sid,

    You can save the AtomSvc as file, then you can open it in a text editor to see the Content: It's just the title + URL of the data source, nothing more.

  • In a word 'yes'. The atomsvc file contains the necessary information for Power Pivot (or another Data Feed consumer) to connect back to the data source and pull/refresh the data.
