The 'Visual C++ Property Manager Package' did not load correctly

    Question

  • After installing and lauching the VS2015 i get the following warning:

The 'Visual C++ Property Manager Package' did not load correctly and suggests to look at ActivityLog.xml. I have checked it and found the following:

    <record>96</record>

    2016/02/27 09:13:43.577

    <type>Error</type>

    VisualStudio

No InprocServer32 registered for package [Visual C++ Property Manager Package]

8007007e

    <errorinfo></errorinfo>

    C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Visual Studio 14.0\VC\vcpackages\VCProject.dll

Therefore, I'm not able to create any C++ project. Any ideas?

  • Hi Donatas123321,

    Thanks for your post.

Is this issue same to which you have post previous?

    >>No InprocServer32 registered for package [Visual C++ Property Manager Package]

I did a research of the error message you offered. And I found some member encountered the same issue to yours.

And the cause of the issue is that the VS you installed is not correctly. So please do a repair at first.

If still no help, please use http://aka.ms/vscollect to gather the VS and .Net Framework installation logs. After using it, you will find vslogs.cab from %temp% folder. Please upload the file to Onedrive and share the link here.

I will help you to check the installation log of your Visual Studio.

    Best Regards,

    Lake Xiao
