How to easy convert OST to PST files?

I want to move emails from Exchange server to an external pop server. When I change the server settings in Outlook, I'll lose all of my old emails, contactss, etc correct? Can I convert OST to PST files and if so, how to realize this way?

You need to make some actions:

1. Close your Outlook email client if it is currently open.

2. Click the "Start" menu and select "Run."

3. Type without the quotes "drive:\Program Files\Common Files\System\Mapi\LocaleID scanost.exe" and press "Enter." Replace "drive" with the drive letter that holds your Outlook email client. It is typically your "C:\" drive. Replace "LocaleID" with the locale identifier for your Office installation. The LocaleID for English (United States) is "1033."

4. Choose the option that says "Scan All Folders."

6. Click the "Begin Scan" button. The scanning process may take several minutes to complete.

7. Launch Outlook once the scanning is complete. Your .OST files should be recovered.

You can recover your previous email data from OST files, if you have not modified the profile or have not tries to log on to the new mailbox. Mentioned below are the steps that will help you copy the messages in your OST to PST flawlessly:

1. Start MS Outlook offline

4. Add a Personal Folders (PST) service

Method 1: Export mailbox as a PST file
Login to Outlook with the Exchange account that was used to create the OST files. And to export the OST mailboxes to PST, follow the simple procedure:

Go to Files >Open & Export and click Import & Export.
Select Export to a file; then click Next.
Select the second option—Outlook Data File (.pst)—and click Next.
Select the folder which you want to export and click Next.
Browse the location where you want to save the new PST file and choose the options regarding the duplicate items.
Note: There is an optional choice to provide a password to the PST file, but you can easily move ahead without choosing it.

Method 2: Use ‘office 365 archiving’ to save OST emails to PST
When you enable archiving, Outlook emails from OST file are saved to a separate PST file. Also, it helps in keeping the size of the mailbox at an optimum level by saving the older mailbox items in the archive folder.
