pdfx.vcx library problem RRS feed

  • General discussion

  • Dear friends,

I am using pdfx.vcx library for creating pdf. On my pc it runs well. But on my client's pc black vertical strip appears on the right side of the page. When the pdf is printed it consumes too much black ink.

    What could be the reason?

  • Where did you get this library? You should ask the creator.

  • A few things come to mind:

    1) Could this be a watermark? Is this a library that must be purchased/registered?  If so, are the proper licenses set up on the client computer?

    2) Could it be a problem with the printer?  Laser printer drums can be become old or damaged and print stripes on pages.  Alternatively, is it possibly any setting with the printer. such as paper size or type or something else? Printers these days have lots of different settings and they can give different results.
