    Working on a legacy website that was handed down to me.  Everything I have read so far points to ASP not being installed is what is generating this error.  I have installed ASP but still no joy.  I have also read that maybe asp needs to be "registered" with aspnet_regiis /i, when I try that from the v2 folder it fails with a generic error.

    Does anyone here have any insight to this error:

    <fieldset>
    Module StaticFileModule
    Notification ExecuteRequestHandler
    Handler StaticFile
    Error Code 0x80070032
    Requested URL https://localhost:8954/IAAdministrationSite_v2_4/Login.aspx
    Physical Path C:\Program Files\Fiserv\IntelligentAuthentication\IAAdministrationSite_v2_4\Login.aspx
    Logon Method Anonymous
    Logon User Anonymous
    </fieldset>

    You posted an ASP.NET question in classic ASP forum. Don't do that next time, as the two are different things.

    To run ASP.NET web apps, you not only need to enable ASP.NET on IIS, but also ought to use a proper application pool with ASP.NET enabled,

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/iis/get-started/whats-new-in-iis-8/iis-80-using-aspnet-35-and-aspnet-45

    Otherwise, the request goes to StaticFileModule, and 404.17 is expected.

    Hi ntalbot.work,

    Check that Asp.net handler mapping is available in IIS manager or not.

    Select "site" from site node ->select "Handler Mapping" from feature view.

    Regards,

    Jalpa.
