German umlauts in endpoint address RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi all.

I'm trying to make instance of EndpointAddress. Constructor's parameter is string (some machine name) and it contains german umlaut in itself ('u' with two dots above, for example). I've tried to replace those characters with %hex number, but constructor still throws exception 'Invalid URI: The hostname could not be parsed.'

Did anyone have similar problem before?

Could you please help me how to solve this? Thank you in advance.

Answers

  • Installed .NET framework 4.5 helps.

There is no need for using any function to transform address.
