  • Question

  • Hi, I wrote a small application and like to add keyboard short cuts for the buttons on the application. I tried using kedown events but failed. Thanks, Sandeep.

  • I think the alt key is handled by the browser first. Is that correct? Are you seeing the browsers menu getting focus?

  •   It's quite possible the problem is that the buttons first have to have focus before the key-down works when you handle the key-down locally on the button. Maybe adding the key-down handler on the parent controll will help.

  • I Actually tried that Technique but did not succeed. The tutorial is good if I try ModifierKeys.Control

    I am trying to use alt(ModifierKeys.Alt).

  • In that case the best solution left will probably not use shortcuts using the alt-key but use a combination using ctrl-key.
