UFD descriptors not detected by USB CCGP driver RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi Experts,

I am using 2 CDC ACM ports each binded using Union Functional Descriptor. When the USB is plugged in the composite driver loads but it is throwing error as Unable to start device.

If the single ACM port is projected then it is identified as the COM port marked by INF. When two ACM ports are projected then it is causing the issue ?

  • Hi Pavel,

    Yeah I did :)

Well, still am bit curious about why UFD is not accepted by CCGP driver for CDC class composite enumeration ?

    Regards,

  • I would like to use it generically for Linux and Windows OS. In Linux OS, IAD is not detected but UFD is detected.

When I used IAD in Windows it works..

Also I had a query whether CCGP is able to interpret UFD or not for CDC class ?
