VBA code execution after keyboard wedge use RRS feed

  • Question

  • I use a keyboard wedge software to input scanner string directly into "A1".  Once that is entered I need VBA to automatically begin execution of the next line of code.  I can get data to import into A1 okay.  I cannot get VBA code to automatically execute next line without some user action.  I have tried worksheet.change event but change requires an enter or other keystroke even though my scanned data was just scanned into A1.  SendKey was suggested but don't think that is answer.  My keyboard wedge scanner appends a CRLf to my string, at least it says it does, but still once scanned string gets into A1 nothing happens unless I manually enter keystroke.  Any help?  Thanks, Pete

  • I you use codebar scaner, you can program it - take look to manual.

You can set prefix and suffix scan.

In my warehouse, we have set enter after each click.

Anyway - if you want to do it in Excel, you should to use Form to simulate enter behavior.
