Issues during xap(windows phone 8) file upload in Windows Marketplace RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi Team,

Below are the issues which we observed during the process of our xap file upload in to Windows Marketplace:

    >> We have completed 'App Info' section and uploaded the xap file, images and all the required information in 'Upload and describe your xap(s)' section > Selected "Save" button > Didn't got any update information about the submission and the page remains in the processing state for a long duration.

    >> After some time we have signed out from marketplace > Logged in again > Tried the same process, observed an error message as "Missing required metadata: Description" with a warning "Missing certificate for authenticated push notifications: Certificate for authenticated push notifications" under Dashboard.

We did the same process many times by giving all the required information in 'Upload and describe your xap(s)' section but we found no result. And after Re-Login, it's displaying the same error message with warning.  So, could you please give us the solution ASAP to place our xap file into the Windows Marketplace successfully.

    Thanks in advance...

  • Hello Vox Valley,

What browser are you using? We have seen some developers running into problems recently if they are using Firefox. Please try using Internet Explorer 10 first and if you see the same issue then try using IE10 in InPrivate browsing mode so we can make sure it is not an issue with the cache. If you still see this issue after trying IE10 then please contact developer support.
