Covert problem from .xef file to MPEG-4 or AVI because of frame drop. RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello, I recorded Kinect Stream Data using the kinect studio(.xef file extension, using kinect v2).

I recorded the data for 10-15 minutes, and I want to convert from .xef file to MPEG-4 or AVI.

Then, recorded data file should be synchronized with MPEG-4 or AVI.

But, the problem that I concern is the recorded data file lost a few frames during recording so when I converted the recorded file to MPEG-4 or AVI, its time was shorten. In other words, the converted file was shorter than original(.xef file)

I want to synchronize the  frames of original data with the frames of the converted data.

    Are there any solutions?

    Thanks a lot in advance.

  • How did you convert .xef to mpeg-4, screen capture? Or did MS finally release some data on .xef to decode it programmatically?
