Custom SAVE button - Access Web APP RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi Guys,

I'm trying to create a Save button. The issues I'm having is that when the user clicks the button if the form is NOT in Edit mode will throw an error message and not save which is fine but

Is there a way I can check the status of the form before I run the Macro?

I've tried checking the status of a Texboxfield but that doesn't work as the status [TextBox].[Enabled]=Yes is not changing after going into edit mode

    Cheers

  • Hello,

In my opinion, Access Web app doesn't provide any properties or method to check if it is in Edit mode.

But I think you may use GoToControl to let it focus to a specific control before saving.

    Regards,

    Celeste
