Silverlight (internet explorer plug in quit working)

Question

Silverlight worked just fine in my new HP Envy for 7 months. Now it does not work and looking at the information under 'internet options'. It shows it is enabled but it also says Microsoft is unverified. Any advice?

Could you please tell us which version of Browser do you use?

I have checked my Silverlight in my IE 11, it also shows unverified but it still works fine when I open following Silverlight demo.

If you are using other version of browser, please check the supported browser list, there are some browsers don't support Silverlight by degrees. Please confirm your browser still support Silverlight at present.

Then please try uninstall and reinstall Silverlight based on following article's guidance.

I am using internet explorer 11 and also have tried a newly downloaded version of Safari.  Neither work. 

I have uninstalled and installed Silverlight 4+ times exactly as described in the article.  I have no problem with doing it but nothing changes.  I cannot now stream anything online.

Do you use Silverligh 4? What's the result when your open Silverlight site, white screen or prompt you to install Silverlight?

Please download and install the latest version of Silverlight to check whether it is works.

In addition, please check your IE 11 settings from Tools -> Internet options, whether all ActiveX and Javascript related settings are all enabled.
