Missing management service delegate icon

Hi Friends,

I am trying to publish a web service to be used later. I have followed various threads and carefully taken into account all prerequisites, such as checking for IIS management console, installing web deploy from web Platform installer or be it, installing it directly from the website.

But, the management service delegate icon does not appear in the IIS. Can someone please help?

PS: I am using windows 7. 34 bit operating system and IIS v6.1 is installed in my machine, Web Platform installer 5.0

Windows 7 is not a qualified operating system. You need to have a Windows Server.

To enable management service delegate, you need to use the IIS Management Scripts and Tools in the Start->Administrative Tools -> Server Manager -> Web Server(IIS) -> Roles. But this option is only available on the Server Version of Windows.

Your current OS is not the server version, so you can't see the management service delegate icon.

Add IIS Management Scripts and Tools Role Service
