Change storyboard name RRS feed

  • Question

  • I would like to animate multiple objects at the SAME TIME.

I would like to activate a storyboard that is written in the XAML for each of the objects.

In the code behind, I change the PropertyName in order to change the object which I animate.

But, if I want to animate a second object at the same time, I have to use a new storyboard.

If I could change the storyboard's name from code behind, then  I can clone it, change the Storyboard name to a new one,

and animate the second object using the new storyboard.

Is it possible to do it in c#?

  • Hi,

No that is not possible. Just simply create a method which creates storyboard with necessary properties as arguments and call that method for creating storyboard whenever you want.

Cloning storyboard and updating specific property is not possible.
