ShellExecute got a problem on a CPlApplet application.

    Question

  • Win8 : On a CPlApplet application, when handling event such as :

     case CPL_DBLCLK:

      ShellExecute(NULL,_T("open"),_T("Another_app.exe"),NULL,NULL,SW_SHOW) );

     break;

    The ShellExecute fail to launch the app when the "CPlApplet application" is 64 bits and the "Another_app.exe" is 32 bits.

    This works fine on Win7 and early versions.

  • Update:

    The ShellExecute fail to launch the app when the "CPlApplet application" is 64 bits, no matter the "Another_app.exe" is 32 or 64 bits.
