  • Question

  • Hi Forum,

I have a masterplanning with several subprojects.

I need to make a report in Excel from the masterplanning. The report in Excel needs in Column A all the names of the subprojects. Column B needs the start-date. This is the start date from a subtask from a subproject.

    How can I do this?

  • In your master schedule, add the fields for Start and Project. Then Save
As....Excel and use the export wizard to generate your report.

  • Thanks Andrew,

I have now in Column A all the names of the subprojects.

The subprojects have many subtasks. What I need in Column E, row 1 is only the name of one of the subtasks, and I need the end date of this specific subtask. In Column F, row 1 I need the name of another subtask etc.

    How to do this?

  • I am not entirely sure I follow. The field can be handled as a Text field
    with a custom formula:
    =[Name]&" ("&[Finish]&")"
Are you looking to group the tasks or sort them somehow? Perhaps you could
try Grouping (Project > Group By).
Do you wish to remove all summary tasks? Then you could filter on Summary
= No (Project > Filter By)
