    Please advise the steps to deploy an MVC3 web application on https.

    Currently the website is deployed on port 80 iis on an amazon instance.

    The configuration needs to be modified to deploy that website on https, and also so that the amazon url is accessable from out side.

    Are the websites with port 80 only accessable from outside url?

    For deploying on https, port 443 is required.

    Got that enabled and the issue is now resolved.
