    The best place to start is using internal testing tools within Visual Studio.

    What is most important is understanding what to test if you have never written test before and how to properly setup a test project. And what level do you want to go.

    Two directions

    Write test against current code

    TDD (Test Driven Development) write test first against business logic.

  • There are four types of testing you can do using a test harness, like, Xunit, Nunit and others,  and using a test framework of tools, like MSTest, Resharper and others.
