  • Question

    Hi all.

I'm building a package that exctract a subste of projectitems from the current solution: all the VB and C# projects, and their "user" folders, putting them in a treeView.

I'm wondering if there's a way to associate the exctracted items with the standard VStudio Icons (C# project, VB project, folder...)

    TIA

  • Hi Fabio,

While most of the file types associated with the VB/C# and VC++ project hierarchys are just the icons registered witht he OS per Craigs email, you might also want to peruse the VS2005ImageLibrary.zip which gets installed to your Common7\VS2005ImageLibrary directory. It contains a lot of the artwork used by VS packages, and can be integrated directly into your own package as well.

    Sincerely,

  • Most of the icons used for display within the Solution Explorer window are from the file system. This MSDN article shows how to do it from C#:
