Custom DataContext's Properties RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

    Started using Astoria's Data Service and I think it's very cool. Have a question though. I have my own custom DataContext:

    Code Snippet

    public class MyDataContext

    {

    public MyDataContext() { }

    ...

    public ObjectQuery<MyCustomer> Customers { ... }
    }

    public class MyCustomer
    {
    public int ID { ... }

    public IDictionary<string, string> Dictionary { ... }

    public MyEnum Enum { ... }
    }

    public enum MyEnum
    {
    }

    Just wanted to confirm, enums and other more complex types cannot be used right?

  • We do not currently support enumerations.  Collection types that implement IEnumerable and IEnumerable<T> are supported.

  • Also, am I correct to say that IDictionary<K, T>, IList<T>, etc are not supported because they do not inherit from IQueryable<T> and IQueryable?

    Thanks a lot in advance.
