  • Hi,

I am working on a BAM application which store result status (error or success) of a incoming request so and it is working fine for me now I have one another situation where I have to sent an alert if result Status count is 10 .

  • May be possible though never tried it. You would need to define a mesaure/aggregate period through which you would mesaure number of errors/hour or minute or a period. Once this aggregate/measure is working then you'd be able to use it to trigger the BAM alert on a threshhold (10 in your case).

  • Hi Manoj

You need to create a BAM View with Aggregation and a Measure.

Create a Dimension Name called "Status". Dimension Type - Data Dimension. Select your status field from "Available data items".

Next create a Measure, give it a name like "StatusCounts". For "Base data item" - select your status field. Aggregation Type - Count.

Now, you can create a Pivot table around the new items. Refer-

Once this View is deployed, you can create a BAM Alert, you have to specify the Threshold and Duration parameters accordingly which will determine when the Alert will fire-

    Thanks Arindam
